Description
Real media portrait of an anthro version of my character Morgan. He's a Lion/ wolf hybrid hence the weird mix of features.Watercolour and Karisma pencils on 24 x 32 cm 200g watercolour paper. As with all real-media, looks much better in real life as scanners do not like!

I love the colours ^^ they go so well... then again black goes with all colours ^^ but they do stand out which does a great job at catching your eye

He's handsom! And it's not like anything bad is showing anyway so there's no need for you to put a warning on it. I think anyway..... But yeah this is beautifully drawn and it is too furry to be nude so it technically isn't nude. Hurray for fur! so yes this a beautifully drawn piece. I just wish I could draw anthros now that would be nice have any tips? Cause I gots an idea for an anthro character that I really want to draw and post. so tips?

Really studying and practicing are the two main things that will help. As you need to combine at both animal and human characteristics life drawing is good for improving the body anatomy and doing a net search usually brings up animal images to study the face structures. You need to study what things actually look like in real life first.
If you want to try fur then again if you do a search there are some good tutorials on realistic fur our there. Once you get familiar with how something looks or how the fur texture/ direction is then you can do things a lot easier without the need to ref.
It's always interesting to look at how other artists tackle certain things like the noes etc though you always have to bear in mind that it's only their interpretation and it may not be correct in any way.
It is one of those things were the more you draw it, the better you get at it. Just get a big pile of cheap printing paper and fill them with doodles. They don't have to be complete or neat, it's just practice, and you can chuck them in the bin afterwards so you don't have to worry what they look like
