Yes. Yes. YES. I did a redraw, I had to do this scene!! The moment the Saiyans--I mean other Gems landed on earth I was like: sheet’s goin’ down...And then there was Jasper and I was like: Badass! Anyways~ So yeah, I had to do this scene. With Lapis’ worry for her Beach Summer Fun Buddy and Jasper standing there looking all badass aksdjflaksdfjasdklj! I did this mainly because I wanted to draw Jasper~ and because I wanted to make the scene all the more intense (and test out my style), I mean by gosh, that music, the atmosphere was chokingly intense! Probably my favorite moment of The Return~ I wanted Jasper to look brooding and powerful against Lapis’ helpless fear for Steven’s safety. I went overboard...on everything...I added a lot of glowy~
Long ass story short, I had a buttload of fun redrawing this scene (and testing out a different shading style)~
