This was a fanart that I did quite qwhile ago that was intended to be sent in to Nintendo Power. I forgot to send it in and once I got the next issue of NP I discovered that they remodeled Player's Pulse: THEY DISCONTINUED THE FAN ART! I have never written in all capitals, so now you know the severity of it. Seeing as how I'm surrounded by artists I'm sure you guys would be compassionate about the loss of this, and I would like to start a petition to get it back, or atleast if people could take the time to e-mail Nintendo Power that would be great! (just go to [link] and go to the Nintendo Power section and contact us). Anyway I really enjoyed doing this since Nintendo is definitly my favorite gaming company. The characters are also the most illustartive out of any other platform, let's face it they are much more inventive and you're ten times more liable of being able to be inspired or connect to them in some way. The scanner kind of messed up the picture though, if you can see some bright reds like in Paula's hair..well that's thanks to over exposure, so some parts look a little bright and solarized. *spasm* Omfg this rocks so much :3 I'll admit, I'm a TOTAL Nintendo-geek so I can't help but love this. Eee, it's got almost all the most awesome characters in it! And you deserve ultra-mega-bonus-points for including Ness, Paula, and the Animal Crossing peoples.
Yeah, I was really disappointed when NP dropped the fanart, taht was one of my favorite parts of the mag... oh well, the recent (awesome) makeover kinda-sorta makes up for it.

Thanks muchly! Glad to know there are other NIntendo geeks out there. I never resubscribed to the magazine because of the fan art and fact that I'm moving. The new design is just not enough for me either- with the fan art I had a sense of community and creativity amoung people who don't work for nintendo. All that is gone now. Who else did you want in here? Perhaps the ice climbers and kid icarus?

I think this is a brilliant homage to the entire Nintendo dynasty...of course, I'm a PS2 person, so uh... well, I still reconize a loving and beautiful tribute to gaming when I see one.

Of course. I maybe a PS2 person now, which is why I have no idea who some of those people up there are, but pretty much all gamers at my age have thier origins in Nintendo. I'm appreciative of all the hours of FFIII, Superbonk, and Teenaged Mutant Turtles our SNES-our first system- gave me.

Yes indeed. Most people that are older did start gaming with Nintendo-some just wont admit it and some may not remember. My first system was the Nintendo, but I really got into video games when the SNES came along.
