Description
Finally an update! I had completed this little diddy a few weeks ago that I spent every waking hour on. The 3D assignment was to take two characters and incorporate them together. Their offspring you could say. Centaurs were always a childhood favorite of mine so I wanted to incorporate two characters to create one. WHat I came up with was combining Zelda and the Last Unicorn. I modeled it after Twilight Princess Zelda obviously, because her new costume rocks! All the armor and clothes was a pain in the butt to make, but I think it was worth it. The face was by far the hardest to do. Her eyes came out a little wonky (each took me 4 hours to make! So much trial and error), it is only my first time model after all.... Oh and also you can't tell in the picture, but I added a pearl pigment to the unicorn half to give it her shiney quality, so she glistens in the light. So here she is in all her battle glory! If anyone might be interested in buying it, let me know.
Dimensions: 9''x 14'' 3'' roughly (blade: 5'' high)
Media: Armature wire, aluminum foil, super sculpy, acrylic paints, pearl pigment, gloss, and stainless steel.

I love the detail you put into her hair, her armor, and the hair/hooves of the unicorn. Awesome job!
I can't believe you would sell that though, I would keep it.

Yeah, her face didn't turn out as well as I had wanted. I'll do better next time. Sculpting faces is about the hardest thing to do.

Right now is my photography stage,

Thanks. The unicorn body was pretty simple up until the smoothing process. Everyone liked it for it's glimmer. WHat sculpey project did you have?

in my class we had to do a sequential scene or tranformation with 5 figures or objects in it and it had to involve the human figure

If only I had your skills--!!! (Well, for one, I would never get another C in Ceramics.... ) This is a fabulous model/sculpture/diddy that really shows your mastery of 3D objects, and attention to detail. My favorites parts from each half are the hair and unicorn body. Coolio... *_*

Aw thanks. Yeah I was pleased with the blending in the aftermath, but then again it's not that difficult to make a centaur.

Crazy detailing Robyn, your 3Dimensional talent is amazing. I really love the position of the unicorn half, changing form an at rest position to a tense, battle ready pose. Very cool.

Thankyou Angelica. My teacher actually ragged on me for awhile about the pose, so it was a long process to try to get something he would approve of. Until finally I decided that this was my project and I knew what I was doing so his opinion lost value XD. No but he's a great teacher really, he helped me out.
