One of the five chosen for Edenia's Special Forces. She was trained by Jade, among others within the Edenian military, thus making her deadly. Ruby's weapon of choice would be her arm blades, similar to a Tarkatan's, but rather than them being part of her body, they are attached to her gloves. Needless to say, they are artificial rather than biological. Like most Edenian warriors, Ruby also has powers. She can manipulate the solar energy around her, making a ball of energy, closely resembling a ball of fire. Her preference is close kombat. Rather than using her powers to shoot projectiles, she simply incorporates it into punches and kicks.

During the first timeline, before Raiden altered the past, she attended a summit, playing the role of a body guard for Queen Sindel. Also at the summit was Reiko, who was at Shao Kahn's side. She caught Outworld's general's eye. Months later, Jade sent Ruby on a mission to spy on Tanya, feeling that she may be a traitor. Unfortunately for Ruby, Tanya was well aware of Ruby's presence, trapping her in Shao Kahn's palace. It was then where Reiko took her as his prisoner, making her wear bangles around her wrist that altered her mind, turning her evil. Reiko had found himself a new bride.

During the 2nd timeline she never participated in the Mortal Kombat tournament, only hiding in the shadows of Outworld. Her homeland Edenia hadn't been freed yet. Due to the altering of events, Ruby hadn't been trained by Jade or any of the Edenian guard, but she was still a highly skilled fighter. She followed Kano, who threw an orb at her, trapping her in Earthrealm. Unfamiliar with her surroundings, Ruby found herself lost. Fortunately she ran into a red headed woman, Jordyn, to take her in.

Finally finished this. Sorry about being in active, I've been working on a few prizes and birthday gifts. Most of those should be posted soon. Anyways I changed her name to Ruby. Recently I was watching Supernatural (third season to be specific) and Ruby was one of my favorite characters on the show. I also found the name fitting for her.

That being said, while I was looking up info on other MK characters, I found out that there was a Ruby in the MK cartoon. My Ruby and that Ruby are not the same. Also that Ruby was ugly.
