Before they fell and forgot, there were many smiles. The city of pendulum awaits these lost souls. The Beldam smiles back

ideation + process:

I haven't forgotten about these dipshits.

This piece in particular is actually quite an old one but just retouched and fixed with some very minor additions. I mostly wanted to just fix and clean up proportions and color. Anyway, this is the gang before they fell into the Beldam's realm which I now officially call "the city of Pendelum." Felt something with time and the ticking of a Pendelum gave a nice ring to that mysterious place.

The gang is just your typical paranormal/mystery geeks that are curious to unraveling the strange phenomenons occurring in their town, but eventually get in too deep. People are disappearing, familiar faces forgotten as if they've never existed, and apathy is weeding itself throughout the neighborhood so wickedly that some rest their heads only to never wake again. Something is gouging out life from this town. Yet their smiles are unharmed.
