With a broken halo being all that's left, the Inheritors were able to defeat Demeus, but at a cost. The world that was left became scarred, only being a remnant of what it once was. It is heavily debated if the Inheritors executed the "best" decision in preserving the world. Some even branding them as the fault to the state of the world, thinking the Recreators made the wrong choice in bestowing them the status of Inheritor. After its defeat, Demeus' parts were scattered across, each taking a form of their own, know as the Newborns. The natives of the world sectors dedicate their time into subduing these Newborns, never to reform their corpse. However, someone is trying to bring them together.
