I really wanted her to look as simple as possible along with her shape when concealed and lurking. As her name suggests, she is the witch that lures the lost children into her domain - The Inside. She crafts new creatures to spread her reach and influence in order to capture lost children and nourish herself and her baby. She is a shapeshifter, but a brittle one. However this does not mean you should underestimate her creativity to capture her prey. She has threads everywhere.
