Ooo gotta be fun! that is a fantastic idea! (ok that sounded weird) I love the colours and the scenes in general: I mean like the knights haging off the girls back pack and the traditional dragon captures the princess! I love fairy tales too much!

I love the attention to detail put into this piece, from the small knights in the one corner of the image to the small stack of books in the diagonal opposite. I would continue in my praise, but Nadramon has it covered.

Wow. Fairytales would definitely be much more intimidating if summoned like that.
The idea reminds of "Neverending Story", except this time the characters from the book enter our world instead of just the child reader entering the book... Is this girl by any chance named Pandora?
Basically everything about this picture is great: the details of the background, which makes a striking contrast with the situation: it was just a dusty, quiet library until the girl opened the book. Then...chaos!
The dragon is intimidating, the girl's expression shows her surprise (not yet turned into fear) very well, and the knight on her head adds to the intensity rising from the book. (I love the flames around the dragon's body. It looks like the book itself is burning.)
Yet the screaming princess and the knights attempting to climb the girl without falling off make a good comic relief without altering the action. It just makes the scene seem more colorful, so to speak. It adds depth, and a strange sort of realism.
This drawing is also technically wonderful, especially the soft focus of the background and the subtle change of colours around the dragon and its fire, the girl's hands look a tad more orange. The knights' big hands are comical and I love the details of the girl's hairclips.
If I were picky I would say that the dragon's wings are too small and the claws on them suggest it has the equivalent of a third and fourth arm, but whatever, it all still looks incredibly good as it is.
