Along with the great artwork and styling, I love the chaos in all that action as the story literally explodes off of the pages. Her surprised face as she falls backwards in shocked fear is outstanding.
It's so disorienting and scary yet so very cool.

This plague called manga really is corrupting aesthetic sense of young people.Qauntum of crazy-colored pictures to feed masses. Wonder if you still like after 3 months or it'll be just another of 500 pictures in your faves.

you are correct in ways. though, as i see it, Anime/ Manga art attracts so many people because of its "Crazy colors". artists feel that they can truly express themselves based on emotion, not realism. im not sure about "corrupting", but you may have a point. I think if you dont like the particular "style", you should look at the raw talent.

What I see is that you can accept oposite feeling... I like manga like hellsing or Trigun witch is for me absolutely best anime I ever saw.. I just don't like a lot of things on deviantart and one o those is deformation of manga.. I HATE ART IF THIS IS REAL ART.

Whats the point on ranting in about this picture? It is a wonderful piece and if you say you know art, then you would look beyond the canvas to see how the colouring is done, how smooth the blending is, and so on. If you plan on flaming a style, you should spell properly as well.

I don't have a reason to copy somebody. I don't like this way of artistry. It's not okay if I see 500 pictures in a day and they are all in manga style. 500 hundred people using one style - NOT OK!

i see what you mean. there are alot of people out there who use this style, and sometimes i get the feeling that this talent is becoming more and more unoriginal. but, hey, everyone has their own tastes
