The country's name is actually Euskadi. Neither do the Basque people have a name for themselves. The Spanish named up Basque. You speak Euskara or Euskera and you live in Euskadi. But I do not know of Berezi Etxarte unless that is the name of this OC.

Well, when talking with non-Basques, you can say Basque-french or Basque-spanish to clarify which area you come from. Even though Basque should be considered Independent, it helps foreigners understand where you come from (also considering that the French and Spanish side do have some differences!)

What a lovely OC! I did a school project on the Basque-Spain conflict, and I think you got her personality perfectly even though I know nothing about the Basque people outside of that. Spain probably isn't as nice to her as he is to Romano, is he? And France is his typical pervert self around her XD.

Probably. xD I normally don't have much with her and France since I decided she's the Spanish half of Basque Country, and she has her brother who is the French half. Neither of them are very fond of the BTT though since they're stuck between two of them. /shot

Yep! I think that all the nations are good deep down, but they've all had their bad periods as well.

Ah, that's so cool! If I trace my genealogy back I am, but it's not far up enough to really matter. < u > Older generations came over from Basque to Puerto Rico, so my families more centered on that.
