Description
This is an assignment for my Illustration class. We're taking mail order catalog's and redesigning the cover. I picked the Fright Catalog (frightcatalog.com) It's full of Halloween props, costumes, make up and other fun spooktacular items... haha.I wasn't even supposed to start the assignment yet. He hasn't even chosen what idea he wants us to do out of our 3 sketches. I hope to hell he picks this one, since I'm almost finished with it!!
It's photomanipulation and airbrushing in photoshop. Like I said, it isn't completed yet, but I like it so far. I messed around with different compositions.. not sure which I like best. The "FRIGHT CATALOG" text would go at the top of the image.

Yeah, the layers weren't cooperating with me, and since this wasn't the final one, I said screw it!

Ooh, that's lovely, looks like what I imagined this character in a book like...
You're so gothy. That being a compliment.

I love your style, this is phenomenal. I love how you kept the skin textured instead of smoothing it all out. The skin blotches around the breasts are a lovely detail.

WOW! What a face!
Cold, mercyless and strict, but still impressive (or better: because of that).
Reminds me of
1. Haunted Mansion in Disneyland Paris (I went in Haunted Mansion twice )
2. The female villains of several movies (for instance Cruella DeVille or the old woman from the South Park episode "Pip/Great Expectations" ).
Great job!

i like the smaller version as you can see the decaying chest so nicely. also it really has much more of an impact from the eyes at the larger size... so i cant decide between them... can i like them both? i think i will...
