ok..this took the longest time ever..over 3 hours.. almost 100 layers..I worked really hard on it damn it..I was listening to nine inch nails the whole time making it..mostly hurt towards the end.. that's like the best song in the world.. I just had to add the nin symbol because it fit.. anyway I'm actually proud of this one..I actually like it and that's not too common.. please please please comment!! I'd really appreciate it.. and YOU HAVE TO SEE THE FULL VIEW..so much detail and little things are lost in the thumbnail see the fulll view damn it!Related content

I really like the trees, the girl in the bottom-center and the light bulb next to her but the grainyness doesn't strike my fancy (fancy).

This caught my attention because I've been looking at Joseph Cornell's work in college, and its quite reminisent of his work, although in many ways more appealing.
The detail is incredible, and Ah!

no words can exspress how deep and emotional this is to me. its really great, the layering is short of amazing really really fantastic! makes me literally want to break down like a fetal child and weep upon the bossom of st. francis (hope she's beautiful) but no in all seriousness. this is great, it'd be great to have on my wall......should make it a deff. print i'd buy one! take care thanks for sharing great work.

I do like it. This picture gives me almost the same feeling of the artworks from "Smashing Pumpkins - Machina". I mean those human portraits and the style of joining things (Flowers, butterfly, etc) together.
You can have a better control in brushes I believe. One of the worst parts is , the brushes are too dirty. I mean.. 'too'.

first of all.. i wanna say that i love this, its a fav or sure and u did a beautiful job with it..
as for the critique: you have a unique way of bringing nature into this piece (i saw you did this as well for ur ID), the idea of 4 boxes/squares is actually appealing.. it seems to give a sense of security, the seperation of warm and cool colors was a good idea.. its like the cool colors almost represent a sky as does the warm colors with an earth, the girl is a unique form in this one; she's one of the first things i looked at.. shes haunting yet mysterious.. leaving the viewer to wonder, and the lightbulb *chuckles*.. its a cute addition

My god...three hours...this would have taken me DAYS...I love the detail. Lots of things going on in your box...hehe...and at such a young age you make me envious.
