Heh, that's interesting.. I was just listening to "Man in The Box" by Alice in chains.
But that's beside the point, which is that this is possibly the best dark type of photomanip i've come across so far. Great use of textures and colors... great piece of art right here, another one of yours to go in my favorites

Wow... I've seriously neer seen anything like it... I think it's great... the blue and green look cold and almost lifeless but then the red and orange-ish colour brings warmth and comfort... and like failane said, the girl reminds me of a character from The Nightmare Before Christmas... uhh... Sally I think her name was... actually I'm not sure... but oh well... anyways the point is that It's really nice and its being added to my favs!

very nice. i think you've got a cool 4 seasons thing going on here. i agree that it does seem to an extent dark. it didn't at first. but there are a few objects i can't distinguish and the blur i think lends itself to an element of creepiness. gotta love it.
the NIN symbol fits very well. i feel so ashamed though. I CAN'T REMEMBER THE SINGER'S NAME!!!!!

Nice piece... agreed, a bit Dave McKean-esque.
Since a couple of people mentioned him though, for people's information, Dave McKean did most of his Sandman era work in physical media, no photoshop whatsoever. The actual pieces are huge, poster sized. It's pretty amazing to be able to generate a work of this depth in just 3 hours - with traditional media it might take weeks. Hooray for digital tools.

Fantastic! Looks like a dark and modern version of the four seasons? Though the butterflies are the first results of google's image search for "butterfly", they really fit in the picture because they were never drawn. Keep up the good work!
:blaap:
How do you make zombies out of people's faces (white eyes or no eyes etc, the dead-looking bodies) by the way? Please let me know.

im here commenting again on your most beautiful piece, i need to inform you a little bit better than saying that the butterflies look like their popping out. *hits head* owh well, anyways. i love the figure with no face. I also like the four squares, the symbolism in my words represents the four seasons of your world. but enough jibba jabba from me. keep up the badass work man. peace

sometimes i'm just plain thankful for what the digital medium provides us. i think this piece is a great case in point. the only thing i wanted to mention, and not as a criticism, just as an observation, is that the figure is standing on the wrong side of the lightbulb... shadow-wise.
oh yeah, and i used to have that bumpersticker. =]
love it when i see nails fans.

I love this one. ^_^
Your attention to detial is amazing. The human figure at the bottom was a nice touch, it adds a strange feel of serenity to it, just like how the butterflies do. The mix of dark and warm tones looks great.
nice job!

Great piece, you sure yer not lyin about your age, hell it take me 3 hrs to get situated in my chair.
Very rich with color and conent, beautiful yet sinister,
reminds of a stained glass window in the church of the damned.
Excellent work in deed. I'd pat ya on the back but I'm busy scratchin my head.

You are 100% correct in having to view the image at full resolution, there are so many details in this.. I could get lost for hours looking at each individual component. This is truly amazing. The color, the figures, even the butterflies, all stunning individually, but together in this piece.. nothing short of a brilliant!

I have to agree on the Dave McKean correlation- he did an image w/ a woman and a monarch butterfly that is somewhat similar and the style is similar, but then I think that Dave McKean was just way ahead of the crowd on figuring out cool photoshop things. I wish I had something more eloquent to say, but it brings out emotion, warmth, depth, hurt... without being easily pinned down. Kinda like a butterfly.
