The armadillo on the hat was in fact the commissioner's idea. xD But yes, it was fun.
I ended up being a little lazy and drawing it strictly cartoon style though.
Thanks. ^^ The hair might be a little shiny for my taste, but I suppose it works. I do like the stylization of it.
And yeah, the skin, it's like.. I actually spent a little time on it. Weird.

cartoon style is nice too, and as you say, it's easier But still you need a certain knowledge to do the "proper" cartoon style ^^

Course, you can't just switch around...
But I do it a lot and prefer it way above for example anime.
And it does make some things easier.
I love the clean shapes in it.
