My faceless reflection looks back at me,
tears fall like acid with the vain hope someone might see them, but it's useless.
No one ever hears my screams in the dark.
No one ever hears my whispers in the light.
Hatred surrounds me,
Rage captivates me,
Fear consumes me.
Pain, my old friend,
I see you've come to meet me again.
I am but a puppet in this house,
and a puppet-master in the world I die everyday in.
Scars greet me like a friend,
Sorrow invades my thoughts,
Shadows know me by name.
Is there anybody out there?
