okay, so I can be convinced that the title is crap. <_< >_>if someone has a better title, tell me~
I went some grocery shopping with Mom and I found this coloured pencil set, 36 pieces, 3 bucks. I. couldn't. resist. I'm a pencil whore, it's as simple as that.
directly beside the pencils they had A3 paper, 40 sheets, not even 1 €. and since I can't draw small for life (don't ask me why that is), I decided to buy that, too.
naturally, the urge to draw something overwhelmed me. hence this... uhm... colour orgasm.
forgive me for the badly chosen colours, they don't match the pic theme at all and probably scream at you more than they do at me. but I wanted colour~! *rainbow*
the next pic will be a dark themed, equally coloured pic again, I promise. don't fear for my hidden emo-ness! *strikes pose*

I just wanted to draw the hair, if I'm honest. with pencils, you have to achieve relative smooth areas and fine to thick strokes then the pencils are good.

ich fand das das Stirn-Nase-kinn-Verhältnis nicht stimmt.
das passiert mir bei dieser perpektive nämlich auch immer.
irgendwie erscheint das Gesicht zu gedrungen und das Kinn zu lang.
Daher denk ich, dass die Nase und die Stirn hätten länger sein müssen.

hmhm, seh' was du meinst. die nase hätte länger sein müssen. stirn ist eigentlich okay. war zumindest, als ich die "rohform" des kopfes gezeichnet habe, alles in ordnung. kann aber durch meine inkompetenz bei haaren jetzt komisch wirken.

I'm in love with coloured pencils. they're the only other colour medium besides digital drawing that I am able to use.
I'm satisfied with the hair myself, the pencils are amazing.
