Mmm, black and white and simplistically clean.
I've personally used this logon screen for a little over a year and a half and enjoy it just as much as ever.

Well I was sort of looking for something that could help me with my ".tls" issue x) So I sort of fell for that tutorial stuff, but it discovers things that can't help me. Anyways it's a laconic and good tutorial and I liked the handwriting too ^^

Honestly, I haven't messed with the program I used to make this since, well, since I made it 2.5 years ago. Somebody asked me the same question previously, though, and I said:
"The background image was available only as a 1280 x 1024 image, so even if I figured out how to change it to a wider resolution, I wouldn't be able to do much about the background other than add plain black bars to the sides to keep it from distorting. But then it wouldn't look quite as good. It would basically be the same thing except the image would be floating in the very center of the screen instead of being anchored on the sides."
I don't really feel like delving back into it, but I think you could give it a shot if you wanted. If you download both the file and the program, you SHOULD be able to edit it. Sorry I'm not of more help!

I think you might be able to edit it after you download both the file and the program needed to use it. And in that case yes, you're more than welcome to change the background for your personal use - just please don't change only the background and then claim it as your original work.
Other than that, enjoy! Do whatever you want with it, go crazy. It's there to be used.

Haha, I love how you used my "me", "not me" idea. I just do that because for some random reason I hate the word "guest", or "visitor", or really any boring generic term for people who really shouldn't be on my computer.
But yea, it looks great. Glad you could put it to some good use!

actually we are similar because i already had it like that XD i hate when my friends are on my computer because they always mess things up so... "not me" is very very highly locked down XD

Didnt download this because it doesnt fit my resoultion, but I have to say, it's very nicely done
Is it possible to make logons customised to fit widescreen resolutions correctly? Like 1440x900 for example.

I'm not sure. I made the logon a long time ago, and I don't really remember how to use the program anymore (although I'm sure I could figure it out - it's still on my computer somewhere).
