Godzilla is an alpha predator of the Permian age, a reptilian who survived several mass extinctions, including the KT-Extinction. Thousands of years in the future, mankind had seen the creature, and been acknowledged by several ancient societies and cultures, including Mesopotamia, the Romans, the Native Americans, the Japanese, the Incas, and the Micronesians. Operation Crossroads' Castle Bravo bomb test was a cover-up by the US Government and Monarch, as it was used to eliminate Godzilla, but only proven that it made him stronger.

In 1962, an outpost was made in the seas of Bermuda, dubbed Castle Bravo, whose designated number was 54, as Godzilla's territory routes has this location as a "hot-spot" for both the Titan and MONARCH.

Godzilla would re-emerge in 2014 in a battle with a duo one of his natural enemies, the MUTOs, a female and male, but soon eliminated them.
