Oh it has been a while since I've done some decent TLK fan art
Anyways, this is for the contest over at TLKFAA, "Together at Last", where you put two characters from the movies that never met on screen
I wanted to practice my digital skills, so this happened.
I figured that if Mufasa did survive his fall, having merely been knocked unconcious, and due to the fact he would be weak and unable to stand up to his brother, he would wander and could eventually end up in Timon and Pumbaa's jungle.
And Pumbaa would seem rather appetising after wandering a desert for a while xP
(blargh i cant draw pumbaa very well xD )
(also, i am rather excited that TLK is being rereleased in cinemas 8D )

I have to say I love your picture and the idea of Mufasa living. Now I'm wondering if he had chased Pumba and Simba was old enough, would he fight his father to save Pumba, like he tried to fight Nala? How long and hard would they battle one another before they realized who it was they were fighting?

Very good! (I can't wait to see TLK in cinemas either! I am definately going to watch it! Imagine all the awesome bits of TLK that give you goosebumps in brilliant quality and on a big screen! )

Interesting angle, the lighting in it works really well and also you really captured the speed of the characters. I wouldn't like to be chased by Mufasa...

yeah they are, in 3D about septemberish i think 8D
its not uploaded over there yet, and it'll probably take a few days to do so xD
Mufasa would be rather more of a threat than Nala would be

Yeah, it can take forever. Luckily in my old age I have become much more patient...or I downsize the picture and link to it on my DA account! I do get fed up of TLK.FAs small pictures though, it's much nicer to be able to see the artwork.
Yes, it will be strange. I'll either love it or shout at the screen 'what have you done to my favourite film!?!'.
