This is a nice photograph. Tonal variace is good with just enough detail to move the eye. The only nit would be the nearly 1/2 frame split of the horizon and the left and right split of the tree placement. A bit more left or right may change the focus and feel of the image, letting the tree float or reside within the space, let the other elements play a role in the attention of the solidary tree. I like the vignette. It does focusing the eye right to the tree.
While the idea is one that has been the subject of countless images. this one is a good execution because of the gloomy tonal application and the vignette.
I think a message does come across with this image. To me it is one of solitude with maybe a touch of sadness and weariness.
Is the photograph aspect this wide over short or is that something of dA is doing?
If it is of the photographers doing, it is a nice touch.
Over all a pleasing work. Nice job.

I have to slightly disagree with Marty, 'cos the centering of the tree has a pourpose here. Centering enhances the solitude, suggests the theme as sacred, religious item, or in certain cases it points to something that wants to hide. Therefore I won't necessarily change the composition.
As you have the RAW, it is very good idea to give his suggestions a go, since nothing will get lost or ruined.
For my taste it has a bit too much darkness, the ground almost looses its otherwise interesting textures. I would give some light back (my monitor is almost freshly calibrated) and even would reduce a bit of vignetting. At this stage it is too obviously artificial, and it has a bit diamond-like shape while the theme would benefit from a more rounded one.
In all other aspects that I got aware of, this image is very good and well done.
I reserve the right of being false or even changing my opinion if I missed something...

Bardzo fajne zdjęcie. Szczególnie podoba mi się pewna paralelność nieba i ziemi - udało Cię trafić na piękne chmury.
