You know the Cap is a East German Army Officer cap. SS officers during WWII had a Totenkopf (Deathshead in English) which was the skull and crossbones on the cap besides the Eagle.

Totally worth it, my brother found mine on e-bay for like $25 or less. But make sure you clean it thoroughly and never use the air filter canister it comes with. Those old ones are bad news, but you can replace the canister with a brand new NATO canister for like $5 at an army surplus.
