im just upset cuz i spent almost the entire day workin on it..u know, then it turns up like this..plain..i mean if u think about a Zelink wedding fanart, u'd expect real pretty, flashy, rosy, romantic, just real colorful and eye-catching, ya? and on top of that, its not even computer colored gah!

it is eye catching because plain is good. exspecially because if everyone's going to draw facily and colorful, yours sticks out because its so happy and simple(in a good way of course)

oh don't worry lol i'm horriable at it too. when i compare my drawing to my reference (usally a screan shot from a jap.drama) i usally find that they look almost nothing alike (except for "slightly insain" but that one scares me too much to be proud of lol)

no but i use their pictures for refrences. the most i use in mizuki from hana kimi
(and actually for the most part i use girls so thats why their all girly lol)

hahaha well girls are definitely easier to draw, real or cartoon! at least in my opinion! btw, i think u should try coloring ur stuff with copic markers more! (im really astonished by how well things can be colored by them) wish i had my own set, im sure i would've been able to color this wedding pic much nicer T.T

yep they are, i have no idea why though.abd thats a good idea so i'll definantly do that more. well i think you can get the markers i use at a local craft store (just look for "prisma")

yaya! i found prismacolor brand markers but man it was a bit pricey! u know why i havent been able to find any till now..i would find one but wouldnt get it cuz it doesnt say "COPIC markers" so i thought it wasnt the same...

really? mine were just 20$...maybe its the diffrence with places? techniqly they are the same just diffrent brands and prices lol, but then again i only found that out through my art teacher when we were arguing over what was best to use to get a vivid look (the class looked at us like we were crazy the WHOLE time) and that came up so, yeah*shrug*

oh man, i was just looking through this one girl's artwork, she has some beautiful drawings (well the proportions and stuff were kinda off but) they looked like professional manga covers!! now i really really REALLY wanna color with markers!!

hmm..but that last zelink pic proved how much i suck! i didnt want any pencils lines to show, i wanted all the colors to blend and stuff..it worked out pretty well for my calendar pics..i dont get it, waah!
aw man..photoshop and realism do not mix..at ALL (at least for me) i was doing a zelda face in photoshop but just gave up..she looked soo horrible! scary! aaaaaaaaaand it was impossible to do her hair (since it was up close and all) so i simply..gave up

its seemed like it was intentional and it looked preety good. i gave up a very long time ago with blending colored pencils (they just don't like me)
its more real with me that anything else i can do lol. the only problem i have with it is that its always so blurry (no thtat i mind but it get annoying after a while)
