A contest entry forThis is not a spoiler. The contest was either to create a shikai or bankai for Shuhei because evidentally Kubo hasn't really done it yet. *sigh* Oh well.
Synopsis:
Name - Wasurerareta Joo (The Forgotten Queen)
Call - Reclaim your Throne
Details - I gave him a costume change like Toshiro, Renji, Ichigo, etc. I really like him with the metal gauntlets/armor of doom. I'm also fond of the double-edged spear/trident. It's fancy! So anyway, one could be scewered on either end.
Specials - The strands of fabric serve a purpose. They can extend to grab an enemy and while they are somewhat immobilized, can be freely attacked.
Secondly, Hisagi can call forth the Forgotten Queen to help him in his fight. he simply plants the trident part of his weapon in the ground (or whatever surface he happens to be fighting on) and it will turn to sand allowing the scorpion-like spirit to emerge from the ground.

I tried to go for a different concept than other contestants who were really into the idea of wolves and chains (which was a little cliche in my opinion, but it was there decision, not mine). I'm glad you found it interesting. And now that you mention it, his head does look a little funky, but the piece was a while ago so I haven't really taken a look at it in a while.

Hm....for this piece, any and all kinds of marker. I use a mixture of prisma color, copics, fibracolor, and sometimes the old school crayola!
