Just so I have something to show for my disgusting procrastination, this can be my second entry for Larfsalot's Relationship Contest

The Story:
Basically then, this is just one of my human characters translated into horse form. He's from a different world, but his love from Earth calls to him, so he goes back. It doesn't matter that they're seperated by entire worlds, because love can conquer something as trivial as distance, right?
-totally killed the romanticism by the rapid fire delivery-

The Idea:
I thought I had this completely planned out. I had the horse ready, the background ready, and three hours of work behind me. But as soon as I had both on the same canvas, it just fell apart. This happened TWICE. But then I started sifting through Resurgere's stock packs to make me feel better and couldn't help but download all the Cosmos which then resulted in this. This, an entire day spent photoshopping. Just to say, if the image had worked with the first background then I wouldn've spent maybe three hours on the entire picture.

Problems:
I hated how this picture was so complete without me having done anything to the background. It was just too amazing, perfect without needing me to fiddle with it. But I refused to submit it - and then, a few hours after I sent it to a friend for crit, I got the idea to put an aurora in ^^
The technical parts of this picture were actually easy - the horse, the wave. But the whole idea came very very slowly. And knowing how much colour was too much colour - there were times I went overboard

/rant. I had to get that out of my system. Original 1419 x 887 image. Sorry about the (C), but I'm too paranoid
