When it came to the men in Chun-li's life, I think no one was closer to her then Charlie Nash. They teamed up during the Alpha series and I remember hearing that it was Charlie who actually convinced Chun-li to not fight for revenge but for justice. Atleast that's what heard. ^^

I think that's why Chun-li remains single. Chun-li tried dating, her last date was probably a means of trying to get over the past, but she just couldn't get over his death. She adopted some orphans and started a family, something she was probably planning to do with Charlie.

Agreed. I thought I was the only one who thought this way. Charlie's body was never found so I do hope they'll bring him back one day (yeah I know it won't happen). It would certainly provide a good story arc for Guile and Chun. Also, Charlie is *very* strong, possibly stronger than Ken, and the good guys need an injection of talent.

Well likely Charlie is dead, otherwise we would have seen him in SF3 (which takes place long after SFIV). But this is just a theory, for all we know maybe Chun-li is into a different kind of guy. I'm not too certain about how close their relationship is, but as far as Chun-li dating another fighter, Charlie Nash seems to be the best choice. He's been the only guy who actually teamed up with Chun-li in the SF canon.

Gouken was supposed to be dead too, but they found an excuse to bring him back. But yeah I'm not holding my breath to see him return. If it's true Chunny likes blonde muscly guys... Abel is single (although I find him rather dull, he's no worse than Ryu).
