Thank you very much for commenting on this, it's one of my favorite pieces and no one ever seems to notice it, THANK you! I met Helen in real life - I went to a taping of her show "Mad About You" and she was so nice, I have always loved her! She's sooo beautiful!

And I can see why it is your favorite peice. She is such an interesting actress and woman. And she has this elegant tomboy look about her. She looks like she is willing to get down and dirty just for fun but is so beautiful at the same time.

Great realistic drawing! Tons of detail and it's very close to the photo--the face is exact--but you've straightened her up somehow. Your detail work on the face and upper chest gives the feeling that she's standing up straight, which makes the chest a little awkward b/c in the photo she's leaning forward providing that glimpse.

i know its looking a bit odd, but it must be like this and she does have a broad fore head so it has nothing to do with your art work. as it is the other things looks great, the twinkling eyes and the shading all is done pretty well.
