Thanks for over 14,000 views!! If you liked this, there's more InuYasha fanart in my gallery and in my scraps!A quick little sketch I did for fun. Photoshop CS2, 1 hour. I see lots I'd like to fix, but it was just a little sketch from a screenshot so I'm just going to leave it for now.

I love how you can immediately tell who they are, while all you can see are hands. Well-planned and well-colored! I definitely think it looks great this way, instead of cel-shaded.

Did you use a mouse or a pad (or whatever the device is called) to airbrush this piece? I have tried using the airbrush tool to color before but it didn't feel right. I was thinking that the fact that I was still using a mouse made that difference.

Yes, I use a Wacom tablet with pressure sensitive pen. Using a mouse is too hard!!

Yeah. Using a mouse is all I can do right now. To be honest, I almost view using a tablet as a total crutch. Maybe I feel that way because I have never seen a tablet other than in photographs, let alone use one.

LOL it took months for me to master the tabbie, it's HARD! But now that I have, I could never go back to the mouse, the pen totally frees you as an artist. You'll see when you get one. (I hope someday you'll get one, they're great)

New, they're a bit pricey, but you can pick up a used one cheap off Ebay. Go to www. wacom .com and take the "test" to see which Tablet would be right for you [link] before you start checking on prices, because price depends on which one you need. Then keep an eye out on Ebay and in the local paper, you can pick one up for 1/10th the price new.

I know a family of Crowder's from way back but I don't remember a Jodi. That reminds me. There was a horrible car accident in Reno over the weekend and the husband of an old friend of mine was killed. They have a 2 year old daughter and last I heard they were still needing to sedate her because every time she wakes up she screams hysterically. She was in the car with him when it happened and actually tripped over his body while looking for him in the dark. How horrible is that?!? Life is so very fragile.
