I wanted to "pencil" the "ink" on McFarlane's Spiderman Perceptions Issue 8 page 30. This is a pencil-rendered copy of that page. Why did I copy it? For my own personal fun and amusement. If you don't like the fact it's not "my own original style", and are offended that it's a copy, then just leave this page and leave my gallery. I will not respond to comments like "you should draw in your own style" etc. This was copied on purpose just for fun. Geeze, people, get a life.Related content

I loved this storyline, of course it helps when you've actually met McFarlane when the new Spider-Man series first came out. I drew alot of panels for friends back in the day from these books. This brings back memories. Great rendering.......or should I say graphite. lol Now you got me saying it. Keep up the great work!!!!

I loved meeting McFarlane; his work is among my most favorite of all time in the comic world. I was glad to get his siggy on some of my collection of his spidey work. He's one of the best artists I've ever met, period. I used to go to so many comic cons, and I bought so many comics each month (hundreds of dollars worth) that dealers for Marvel, DC, Image, Darkhorse (etc) would invite me to special select little gatherings they would have showingcasing their artists and giving previews of upcoming comics, so I've met nearly everyone in the industry over the years. But I have just slowly slipped away from buying comics and going to cons... I miss that world sometimes. But I don't miss shelling out the money for tons of comics that never held their value, that's for sure LOL
