For all the fans sad about the ending of "Goodbye Deponia"- finally, it wasn't the end. Daedelic came with the mind blowing reveal last week that they made a 4th Deponia: "Deponia Doomstay"- probably to fulfill the hopes and wishes of all the fans hoping for a happy end. It's out since Wednesday 18:00- the biggest Deponia ever, and after playing 6 hours I can say: probably also the BEST ever. Rufus is ALIVE and BACK!!!

Deponia, point and click puzzle/adventure game made by Daedalic Entertainment, a German developer. It is a triology were you play as Rufus, pictured here on the right, who chases after Goal, the girl with orange hair, for most of the game. I would hands down recommend looking into it if you enjoy good stories (It kinda falls under romantic comedy?), but be forewarned, Rufus is NOT a perfect character by any means, one of the most common complaints about this game is that Rufus is not likeable.

I have some ideas for a fanfic, but it's really hard to write. Because it need to be as great as the original, but the humor and the plot, as it was, perhaps, only Deponia's author can truly feel. Nevertheless, I will fight to the last.

I had so many feels because the third part actually REALLY showed how much Rufus truly loved Goal...like really, in the parts before I always thought it was just a huge crush Rufus had, but then he actually sacrificed EVERYTHING he had for her...and changed...
WE HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE FANART THERE CAN BE FOR AN ALTERNATE ENDING

They could have made fun of the ending they came up with honestly, it would have fit with the the spirit of the game, make it seem like hope is lost until the last second just to make fun of the ending that most games seem to be doing these days.

Yeah, I would totally have been fine with it going exactly the same way, except Goal reacts in time to Rufus' decision and then the happy ending! Please? 8D Both endings achieved!

It's a shame there's no fanfiction for Deponia, I've looked everywhere and couldn't find any. I'd write my own but I wouldn't know how to go about doing it since I've never written fanfiction before, I've got ideas that I can use but that's about it.

Yeah, writing is hard! Even if everybody has a keyboard these days, not everybody can write. XD I'll stick to drawing, I think!
