April 10th I picked myself up a beautiful new furbaby to love and to hold until death due us part <3
This... this puppy....this dog...came into my life when I most needed something that could bring me joy on hikes, walks and trips to the beach. Just like my other pets/friends/family she is a precious gift to my heart that I needed and wanted. I love her so much.... no matter what her breed, she will grow up knowing that biting is not allowed, cats and other animals are friends not food, kids are just young humans, chewing mommy's art stuff is NOT okay, begging for food and grabbing peoples food off the table is not acceptable (Chance from homeward bound) haha <3 she will learn her kennel is her house, her safe space and a place to sleep, relax and calm down. (So far so good) she will learn (if she hasnt already) that too many treats will make your butt burn haha and chasing cars can end up in serious injury or death (she jumps at oncoming cars like they are other friendly dogs) she WILL learn to walk beside me, no pulling or barking at people/dogs. She will learn our days at the beach, walking through trails and all the time spent together will be important until the very day she takes her last breath she will be mine and I will be hers. She is not just a dog... but another part of my family. A baby who will one day grow old. She will learn I am her friend, family and her human mother. I am hoping she will learn to listen to both me and my partner ❤ like most fur babies she is ONE of a kind. I will love her to death until her last breath. She will be a part of my heart and soul no matter how hard she nips me as a pup...she will hopefully learn that it unacceptable and learn to kiss <3 (hopefully her and the cats will also learn to love...or at least tolerate each other.
