Portrait of a picture of Kimba, the whitelion in anthro. I have time without draw him, I have more ideas in mind.The original is in my gallery of Inkbunny, I was not sure in submit the original here. I never read the manga, I havenΒ΄t the oportunity, however I liked the tv-serie, was my favorite character when I was a kid.

I suggest it to you ^^ the manga has much important messages and a more mature ending then the movie.
I've never watched the second part of the anime series (with Kimba grown and the childs) but i've watched the third series of 1989 x3 it's a "teen" one with darker and a bit more mature themes (Kimba kills and hunts)

About the serie of 89, I never knew see it, itΒ΄s never comes in Mexico until I remember.

It's very rare D: Also the japanese with english subs is rare ! there was on youtube. It was translated in english but with TERRIBLE cuts. lots of scenes cut and removed, and the series was stopped when they realized it wasn't for little kids.

That one is a sort of remake/spin off/tribute to Tezuka's death anniversary. I found it great even if not related to the official Kimba story ^^
Is set in a close-future time, a nice and cool movie even if not related woth the original Kimba story...
Watch it because it has much of the Tezuka's style

yeah, the design it's different ^^ but it's cool the story... not only for the darker themes but also for a more heavy human vs animals conflict, that turns into a true war
