Truthfully, encountering Orphy was completely an accident, at least at first. But there was nothing more that Kleitos could ask for in a cat.
At the point she found him, Kleitos was perhaps at her lowest. Reflecting upon all that Arty had told her, and thinking about her actions up until then.
And then came her uncle. A stranger at first, and she found herself intrigued by the fact he was such a precious cat while not being able to speak a single word.
It was so obvious how he radiated affection, and it was so infectious that it made Kleitos smile for the first time in ages.
