Description
In Norse mythology, Odin (more correctly "Othinn") had two ravens, Huginn ("Thought") and Muninn ("Memory"). Although this painting originally had nothing to do with anything Norse, I thought the ravens' names made a good title for this piece.16" x 20", watercolor, 2007.

*gasp*
Wow, what a mindblowing work. This is genious! I also want to paint ravens all the time, but I can't really think about a way to start, because they're all black and so it's very hard to get contrast into it. Some painters do it with blue reflections, but you showed a whole new way here, and it looks great I really have to try ravens!

Haha...actually I'd like to try to re-paint this piece (or do another piece with the same title) in which I do a little bit better job on the contrast, so one can see more details. Thanks!
