I loved it! I'm big fan of the alien series and I just found it incredible, especially the special effects and makeup. I just wish I could see it again in 3d.

I loved it too. But being a Ridley Scott fan for a long time, especially because he defined the science fiction genre with the Blade Runner and Alien I think he could have made it much better in terms of atmosphere and anticipation. The movie has some great memorable scenes and great main actors and of course awesome special effects, but overall it can't compete with the original Alien movie nor should it. It's a great movie but I expect brilliance from Ridley
