----Izanagi------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Um dos deuses primordiais na mitologia xintoísta, que junto de sua esposa/irmã Izanami é responsável
pela formação do Japão, além de ser progenitor de muitos deuses importantes em seu panteão. No início,
quando o mundo ainda era um caos, Izanagi e Izanami são encarregados pelos deuses primordiais
Kunitokotachi e Amenominakanushi em criar a primeira ilha. Aos dois é entregue a lança celestial
Ame-no-nuboko, e juntos descem pela ponte que liga o céu e a terra, da onde usam a comprida lança para
remexer o mar caótico abaixo, formando assim as primeiras ilhas do Japão, local aonde decidiram que
iriam se mudar para viver e estabelecer família. Izanami deu à luz à diversos deuses durante o seu
casamento, porém, ao dar à luz ao deus do fogo Kagu-Tsuchi, ela sofreu graves queimaduras e morreu.
Furioso com a morte de sua amada, Izanagi mata o seu filho e vai em direção ao submundo para resgatá-la.
Ele encontra com ela na escuridão da terra dos mortos, Yomi, e tenta convencê-la à voltar ao mundo dos
vivos com ele. Izanami concorda, mas pede que Izanagi não olhe para ela. Porém, curioso por causa da
escuridão, ele a desobedece, e fica horrorizado ao acender uma luz e ver que sua esposa agora era um
cadáver decomposto cheia de vermes e com vários deuses do trovão brotando de seu corpo. Ele foge de medo,
para o desespero de Izanami, que envia atrás dele os demônios do submundo, Yomotsu-Shikomes e Yomotsu
Ikusas, e os deuses do trovão. Izanagi transforma peças de sua roupa em comida, que usa para distrair
seus perseguidores e escapar para a saída do submundo, o qual ele sela com uma grande rocha. Furiosa
com a traição de seu marido, Izanami jura sua vingança dizendo que irá matar 1000 dos súditos de Izanagi
todos os dias, o qual retruca que ele criará 1500 no lugar deles. Após isso tudo, ele limpa a sujeira do
submundo do seu corpo em um ritual de purificação, o qual dá origem à dezenas de deuses novos conforme
ele se purifica, os mais importantes sendo Amaterasu do seu olho esquerdo, Tsukuyomi do direito, e
Susano-o de seu nariz.

Queria fazer design de personagem em vez de design de monstro pra variar, e reparando que eu
não tinha feito nenhuma divindade ainda, por que não suprir as duas necessidades de uma só vez?

----Izanagi------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the primordial gods in Shinto mythology, who along with his wife/sister Izanami is responsible
for the creation of Japan, while also being the father of many important deities in his pantheon. In the
beginning, when the world was still enveloped in chaos, Izanagi and Izanami were tasked by the primal
gods Kunitokotachi and Amenominakanushi with creating the first piece of land. They gave the couple a magical
spear called Ame-no-nuboko, which then both used to churn the chaotic sea from atop the bridge of heavens,
creating thus Japan's first islands, a place they would then call home and establish a family. Izanami eventually
gave birth to many deities during their marriage, however, when she gives birth to the god of flames Kagu-Tsuchi
she was severely burned and died. Furious with his lover's death, Izanagi kills his own son and set foot to the
the netherworld to rescue her. Finding her in the darkness of the land of the dead, Yomi, he tries to convince
her to come back with him to the world of the living. Izanami agrees with him, on the condition that he shouldn't
try to look at her during their stay in the underworld. However, full of curiosity, Izanagi lights up his comb
and becomes horrified when he sees that his lovely wife had become a rotting corpse overrun with maggots and with
several thunder gods sprouting from her body. He runs away in fear to Izanami's despair, who sends after him the
demons of Yomi, the Yomotsu-Shikome and Yomotsu Ikusa, along with the thunder gods. Izanagi transforms his clothing
into food, which he then uses to distract the demons, managing thus to escape from there while also sealing the
entrance with a huge rock. Furious with his betrayal, Izanami swears revenge saying that she shall kill everyday
1000 of her husband's children, while he then says that every day he shall make 1500 more in their place. After all
this, Izanagi goes clean himself from the filth of the underworld using a purification ritual, giving then birth to
several deities, the main ones being Amaterasu from his left eye, Tsukuyomi from his right one and Susano-o from
his nose.

I wanted to make some character design instead of monster design for a change, and when I noticed I hadn't properly
drawn any kind of deity yet, why not kill two birds with one stone?
