Description I hope you guys haven't been naughty this year... >8)

Posting it a little earlier than planned.
This was supposed to be last year's, but I didn't finish its design in time.
And now this year everyone and their mother suddenly knows about
Krampus. Oh my luck. But here it is!

---Krampus--------------------------------------------------------------------------
A devilish-looking figure from Alpine folklore, who acts as a counterpart to Saint
Nicholas. While Santa gives presents to good children on Christmas, Krampus punishes
them, but the punishment itself varies according to the story, and may include some
scares, beating them with birch branches, kidnapping, or eating them. Krampus is
represented in common devil fashion, a scary goat-like humanoid with a long tongue
sticking out, wrapped in chains, carrying birch branches, and holding a sack where he
puts the bad children he kidnaps. His origins are a matter of discussion, some theorize
links to Pagan entities such the Horned God, which, while not certain, are the most
likely. During his own day, Krampusnacht on December 5, the Krampuslauf occurs, where
people disguise themselves as the Krampus and parade the streets fueled by alcohol and
distributing "bad presents" such as coal and branches. While he is a villain-type
figure, Krampus is actually very beloved by the population, and nowadays his character
is taking on lighter-tones, having a more cartoonish personality and appearing on his
traditional greeting cards in humorous situations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He was supposed to come in a christmas set alongside Odin and Mithra, but their designs
sucked big time, so this year is only Krampus... Oh well.

I didn't want just to copy his devil-like design in my style, so I made it a little more... Festive?
I kinda like how he turned out.

Hope you liked it! See you guys next time, and Happy Holidays!

Oooh, this is such a clever interpretation of Krampus as, effectively, a Christmas treant! I like the upside-down star on his head as an aspect of that, and I feel like those lights are practically glowing thorns...!

Thanks a bunch! Glad you liked it!
I like to imagine it disguising itself as a normal christmas tree and then scaring and chasing after naughty children.

This is one of the best interpretations of Krampus I've ever seen! The Christmas tree body is just too brilliant. The only thing that's kinda missing is the sack he puts children into. But even without it, it's still absolutely wonderful. The upside down star ornament on his head is also a nice touch.

Thanks so much, glad you liked it! I'm particularly quite fond of this one as well!
I indeed tried to include more elements in the beginning, he had not only the sack, but some burning coals as well, but alas, there's only so much space in there, so I ended up trimming it all a bit so it didn't distract people from it's treelike aspects...

I remember being told about Krumpus when I was a child. That scared me so much, I like this one since it looks friendlier than I imagined him.
