----Wanyudo----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A relatively known youkai from Japanese folklore, portrayed as a flaming oxcart wheel bearing the face of a tormented
man. He is said to be the guardian of the gates of hell and wanders the roads between our world and the netherworld,
scaring whoever's nearby and taking and dragging to hell the souls of those who gets near him.

I decided to post another old drawing that I had stocked to fill my ever-growing lack of posts.
Nothing revolutionary here. His design is pretty basic and in line with what you see out there, with just some
small personal touches. Very simple, but I hope you guys like it.

atormentada de um homem. É dito como guardião dos portões do inferno e vaga pelas estradas entre o nosso mundo e o
submundo, assustando quem está próximo e roubando e levando para o inferno a alma daqueles que chegam muito perto.

Decidi postar outro desenho velho que eu tinha guardado pra preencher a minha escassez cada vez crescente de posts.
Nada revolucionário aqui. O design dele é bem padrão com o que se vê por aí, mas com alguns
toques pessoais pequenos. Simples, mas espero que gostem.

I'm a bit unsure if I would keep it in a future remake though, even with me being kinda nostalgic and fond of the idea to this day...
Maybe I should try to make the pipes look more...Japanese in a way? Maybe carved out of wood and coming from the wheels?
I've got to think this better for the future.

It's always nice to tried to tackle an old drawing again and see how we can improve upon it, I was thinking the same. I'm starting to feel REALLY self-conscious about the older entries in my gallery... Including this drawing, so I'm planning to remake a few as well.
Specifically, I really want to remake Gabriel and Michael. The idea back them for they to have a tradicional humanoid "herald form" (which I ended up never drawing), and a weird true "celestial form", which are the ones you see in my gallery. But.... I really don't like them anymore, they really feel similar to the archangels or stuff from SMT IV in general, which is a comparison I've already got and want to avoid...
I wanted to keep the general idea of them being all celestial and weird intact, but in a more believable way... Maybe incorporating more elements from the weirder angels like the thrones and seraphim, or stuff from Ezekiel's vision in general (or more like Pete Mohrbacher's work I guess)... The problem is that those two are still very popular and to a lot of people whom I ask it about, most really disliked the idea of changing the designs of those two... So I don't know what to do anymore.
What's your opinion on the matter?

Well, I too still like the original designs, but if we just consider the remakes as "second forms", you can definitely go for it

...Geez, thanks... Now I'm only feeling more guilty of wanting to change their designs as time goes on...
The new forms would probably replace the old ones so I never have to look at them again, but don't worry, I'm not going to delete anything, I t hink that's a bit disrespectful to the people who liked them all this time.
But I do think your angels are the way to go, or at least it's what I have in mind for my "Herald forms" as well. I don't think you need to change their designs any time soon!

Ele é um dos meus favoritos só pela bizarisse do conceito em si
A Katawaguruma por outro lado parece coisa daqueles jogos mobiles que pegam o monstro e transformam numa mulher
sem motivo só pra ter fanservice. :^)
Agora que eu paro pra pensar eu nunca costumo ver muito dela por aí, é sempre só o Wanyudo... É minimamente curioso.
