Yay! first deviation of 2009!and who's more worthy to be first than Ed Elric of Full Metal Alcehmist xD
I rewatched the series for the third time over break, blaaaaah it's so good. hands down, THE best anime i have ever seen in my opinion <3
blarg, but last night when i was colouring the face, i messed up, and i got so upset i went to bed and dreamed about how horrible the colouring was. that's how much i have no friends T_T
when i was drawing this i braided my hair and parted my bangs down the middle, it was great

This looks so awesome, I especially love the scratch on Eds cheek like from the movie when he's climbing through the window.
The eyes are amazing too, if you just look at the eyes you get a sort of sad expression from them, but when you bring the eyebrows into it, he seems almost confused.
But all in all he looks like he's just seen Alphonse again, in the movie when his soul is attached to the armor and goes through the gate.
damn I love this drawing, if you dont mind me bothering you, What kind of markers do you use? and do you have any tips on how I could start off with them?

I use prismacolor markersss c: they are amazing, and cheaper than copics, which i can't afford xD if it helps, i have a mini face/hair tutorial here: [link] if you have any specific questions, dont hesitate to ask, my tutorial isnt very thurough, and i love helping ppl when it comes to markers xD
