"My name is Legion: for we are many"It's been awhile since I added a new addition to my Mass Effect Portrait collection. It's been a long time coming, but I had to do Legion.
After going to the march comic-con I realized how many characters I still have left to do >.>;;

I like the way you decided to shade and color it, tell me how did you decide on the shading direction?

Legion was looking up into the top right corner, so I decided that it would be best for the overall feel to have the light coming down from that same corner.
Whenever you want someone to look cool or epic, its best to have your character looking directly to your light source.
Usually, to help remind myself where I want my lights and darks to sit, I make a temporary light source on the page and try to think realistically. A few times, I do look up references for people in the same lighting to get an idea of where everything should be resting.
Though, if your asking about why I shade and colour the way I do. I always enjoyed the look of Obama's Hope poster and the Andy Warhol's pop art, so why not merge them together?

Selecting a tech specialist is always the easiest thing for me. I always go with Miranda, that's why I never get this trophy where you have to save everyone, but I hate her so much that I'm ready to "sacrifice" her for my sanity.
