Well I watched Luna Eclipsed tonight and got inspired to create a Princess Luna cosplay! My wish is to get it completed by Equestria LA next year (whenever that is), but I'd have to enlist the help of some fantastic cosplay creators. I have literally no sewing ability and no money, so these might never get made into actual cosplays, but a girl can dream!6 different variations because I couldn't decide whether or not I'd want the cut out. I haven't thought of much in regards to materials and techniques, but I'll sit down and look up various fabrics and tutorials to making these, see if I can soak anything in. What do you guys think?

Well if I'm able to, I think I'd go with the first just to start. It's basic enough for a beginner like myself.

I do really love the deep sapphire blue of 4, and the crescent cut-out looks good with it...hmm.

honestly i like 4 because of the contrast between the blue and purple, whereas the royal-ish blue of 1 3 5 is kinda... well it doesn't POP as much, 2 lacks the crescent which i REAALLY like and it feels kinda.... un-lunaish if that makes sense, but the white sphere in 6 just off sets me, however it is your choice, and they all look fine, 4 is just my preference.

White sphere of 6? Ooohh, no no no, that would be where the fabric would be absent! It would show bare skin in the center of the crescent

hmmmm then perhaps that would work. just as a heads up, the outline of the skin and then the dress should be the same, otherwise it may confuse dreps like me. as in the dress has that bluish black outline, and the skin that peach colour. i support 4/6
