Elsa Color Pencil DrawingElsa the Fire princess, wanted to do a small twist. So this is how i picture he if she would be controlling fire instead of ice.
Everything was done using pastel color pencils from Derwent. This was the very first time i was using them
I did start by applying the ground layer of her hair with markers. But like i said everything was layered on with pastel pencils
Also i did not add any highlights like i normally do, with tattoo color on top.
And to top this of this is my first fantasy character portrait ever .
I used about 10 hours to finish it. 6 hours yesterday and 4 today

i love working with pastel pencils (i have faber castells, which i have a feeling aren't quite as nice as the derwents). brilliant job, especially in only 10 hours! i'm so inspired to go play with mine now!

Wow, this is really good. it looks like this could have been from the movie. The details are wonderful, and all the colors blend really nice. the shading definatly gives it an extra pop. This is just really great, keep up your good work!!
