Elsa Color Pencil DrawingElsa the Fire princess, wanted to do a small twist. So this is how i picture he if she would be controlling fire instead of ice.
Everything was done using pastel color pencils from Derwent. This was the very first time i was using them
I did start by applying the ground layer of her hair with markers. But like i said everything was layered on with pastel pencils
Also i did not add any highlights like i normally do, with tattoo color on top.
And to top this of this is my first fantasy character portrait ever .
I used about 10 hours to finish it. 6 hours yesterday and 4 today

It doesn't look like it's pencil drawn until you zoom in all the way, until then it looks like it's animated or digitally done. Great Job!

That is really good shading! What kind of color pencils do you use on the skin? I could never get the proper skin colors when it comes to drawing and coloring characters..

The details in this is AMAZING! Colour usage also, its like staring at a poster for the movie!! I am so jelly of you using Derwent ^_^ They are my favourite sort of pencil (although I haven't used the pastel pencils before) as they give a very rich colour.
