Memory'sA million good thing can happen during your life time and bring you joy but only one bad thing is enough to haunt you for life.
This drawing is dedicated to my father who lost his only brother during the war. My father is a man of few words but many of the words he speaks are in memory of his brother. Its incredibly sad to hear how much the lose has impacted him and still does even when more than 20 years have passed since it happened.
The drawing itself is not advanced nor the best i have done - but it tells a story that i needed to get out. My art is what i use to send out ideas and feelings. Reaching all of you nice people gives me always a sense belonging. Its so nice to have people following my process of becoming not only a better artist but a better person - i sincerely thank you for that.

We all carry with something.
Sometimes the most short memories, those that I only felt for like 2 or 3 seconds can really haunt you for life, as you mentioned.

kudos to your Father and Uncle, I was in Special Forces for 15yrs, Counter Terrorist Unit for 8yrs which meant alot of theatre......war is not for the faint of heart, I give high regards to those who come out with alot of emotions because they show that they are more human then the rest of us.

This is an amazing drawing! However it's very sad indeed as it's intended to be... but under such artworks there are pro-war comments and I know it's important to stand out for one's national army but I think these comments are inappropriate here. Self-defense is another thing but war just destroys life, it's sad how mankind inflicts such damage on itself. I always like to see thought-raising artworks and I wish I could come up with more ideas that raise thoughts. However it makes me depressed to see such artworks as I am not in the best mood (in the past ten years mostly bad things kept happening to me) and I tend to avoid seeing such drawings. Here have this longer comment instead of a fave I should give, because it has few comments and has many faves already.

yesterday i learned that my great uncle was a war hero in ww2. you do a lot of great art on your profile, but for me this is one of your best :}
