Merida color Pencil DrawingMy plan was to do a small twist on her like i did on the others, but the hair was so much fun to make , so that i did not want to change anything
I used Color Soft Pencils from Derwent to make this drawing

Lovely colours and shapes. I like how you use a mixture of pinks and purples for the shadows. Merida would be touched!

Amazing detail and the contrast of lights and darks. Love how the whit background serves as a back light source for the composition. Great piece overall well done.

ok, looked and had a hard time picking my fav.... they all are, but when you get a chance to see my limited gallery (so far!!) you'll see my drawing pref.s for huge hair in my subjects...ie ..my fav. choice above!! Love your style. I also use alot of colored pencil, and usually/used to leaned toward the more lead base type. Was/am a Derwent Studio diehard, but currently trying Faber-Castell & Pompejanischrot's. any other pencils suggestions ??
