Merida color Pencil Drawing ( green version )I kind of dropped the whole grass/leafs idea - and just colored her green instead ^^
I dont get why people keep asking on what paper i use . Like for this pic i used the same paper that i used to draw my large drawings - i just used the leftovers . The reason why i did that is : i did not have any other paper left and the art store was closed. The paper is terrible to work with on a small scale and with soft colores like i used here
my point - use what ever you have there are no secret magic papers that will make you a better artist just practice and you will get there Dino Tomic

couldn't agree more! Everyone always tells me to save trees and recycle. So good for you! Art supplies can be expensive! The other day for example, I went in to the store to just get an ordinary plastic frame for a poster, nothing fancy...nothing under thirty bucks!! No words could describe how I felt about that. At least a paint brush sale made up for it! For labor day weekend Aaron Brothers is having a sale, buy one paint brush get any two free!!! Also copic pens for $3, got my mom two! We are two happy ladies

I have to agree with what you say about the paper. I think it's just personal preference and experimenting until you find the type and weight of paper etc that works for you and that you like
