Description
I managed to get the modes and textures via RenderDoc and Leapdroid from Miitomo. It exports the models as CSV and I used a PIX CSV importer to get these models in Blender. The UV's are also stored in the CSV but I had to tinker around with CSVed to swap some columns because the importe uses the wrong columns in the CSV as UV's. And as you see, it works! And WTF?! Even with the right UV's, the UV's are messed up! I have no idea how this is even possible... This doesn't make any sense. The UV mapping is giving me headache. And because it's IMPOSSIBLE to rip the models with Ninja Ripper (I tried so many Android emulators with it), this was the only way to get this far... Is there any way to get it right? Here's a Facepunch thread:

(may have no posts because everyone wants generic soldier models instead)

Hey, did you ever get this solved? me and a friend are trying to get some models using RenderDoc but i'm having a hard time figuring out which columns to modify.

Hi, did you extracted model from an archive or ripped it from runninq app? Unwrapped UVs look good and in place. Problem might be that somewhere during that process UV data are messed in model itself. Vertex A of a triangle "gets" UVs from vertex B, B from C, C from A and so on. Or even U is swapped with V. Model data in memory must be stored in exact order, maybe you messed up some columns, or you need to swap more of them inside CSV file. Also DX and OpenGL use different UV spaces. It also might be a problem of memory compression... It really looks like UVs are messed up only inside triangles them selves. Good luck in debugging this And merry debugging Christmas
