I've heard of this particular game "Dragon's Lair". Though I never played it before because it was released in the year I was born in. So I knew absolutely nothing about it until years later. But I heard that it was quite unique for a game that was released in the early 1980s. For instance, the fact that it was more like an animated feature film than a video game. And also, based on what I've read from magazines and seen in YouTube videos, the game puts you through hell! In fact I heard that Dragon's Lair was a tough game. Or at least that's what some people have told me.

I played it once in an arcade when I was a kid, I died right away, it was terribly hard but I love the character designs by Don Bluth. Some of the death animations where fantastic as well. I think you can get a dvd of the game and you can play using just the remote.

Tell me about it. Having the game consist of fluent animation was quite a revolutionary step rather than just having it consist of traditional 2D sprites in a side-scrolling platform. And I also noticed how the animation is "Disney" style because of the fact that Don Bluth had previously worked on films like Robin Hood, the Rescuers, and Pete's Dragon. I must say that for as dated as the game is now, it sure looks great. It's amazing what they've accomplished back then.
