Wookieepedia Page - starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth…
Ok, today we're going to take break with clone troopers for now, and going back to the Sith. This time, here's another obscure Sith Lord from the Expanded Universe known as Darth Andeddu, the Immortal God-King of Prakith and who's believed to be the first Sith Lord who took the title of "Darth", drawn in 2003 Clone Wars art style by Genndy Tartakovsky. This alternate take on Darth Andeddu is for my "Journal of the the Whills" continuity, which blends elements from both Canon and Legends into one cohesive story.

Description:
Due to poor records on the Sith Empire during the Old Republic era, as a result of most information of the Sith being classified by the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic after the New Sith Wars in 1000 BBY, in order to prevent to the rise of a new Sith Empire, there isn't much information on many of the early Dark Lords of the Sith, including Darth Andeddu. In fact, we know more about Darth Andeddu's accomplishments after his death than in his actual life. However, it's believed that Andeddu was born on the Deep Core world of Prakith, and lived in a period sometime after the Great Hyperspace War and before the rise of Freedon Nadd. At some point in his life, he went to or was taken to the Sith homeworld of Korriban, where he took interest in studying the Dark Side of the Force, more particularly the healing techniques of Karness Muur, one of the Dark Jedi Exiles who founded the Sith Order after the Hundred-Year Darkness. Over the years, Andeddu gained more knowledge through his studies and through knowledge, he gained power, eventually rising into the position of "Dark Lord of the Sith". While it was never confirmed, it's heavily believed that Andeddu was the first Sith Lord to take the title of "Darth". With his newfound power, the one thing that Darth Andeddu began to fear most was losing his power, and so he sought ways to cheat death entirely. After decades of pawing through ancient scrolls and conducting archaic experiments, Darth Andeddu became the first Sith Lord to perfect the practice of Essence Transfer, allowing the practitioner to transfer their consciousness into a host body that was too weak-minded to resist the ritual.
Upon learning of the mastering of his own fate, Andeddu's followers began to covet his power and after he refused to share his knowledge on Essence Transfer, they conspired against him, plotting to assassinate the Dark Lord and steal his secrets on immortality for themselves. However, Darth Andeddu was one step ahead of his fellow Sith Lords. Catching whiff of their sudden yet imminent betrayal, Darth Andeddu constructed a false tomb within the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban to hopefully lead his pursuers into a dead end. After escaping his followers' wrath, Andeddu gathered up his scrolls and manuscripts, and returned to his homeworld Prakith. Darth Andeddu immediately conquered Prakith and declared himself as "the God-King of Prakith". Because of his dark side abilities, Andeddu's lifespan far exceeded natural years, allowing him to rule Prakith for many centuries. His Sith sorcery inspired the rise of the Malevolence, a Sith cult on Prakith who swore undying devotion to him. Though he still lived, Andeddu's body began to slowly decay. That, combined with increasing paranoia that other Sith Lords would find Prakith to challenge his rule and steal his secrets on immortality, this led to Andeddu building a tomb for himself, along with his books and scrolls, and his body clung onto his Sith holocron-the Holocron of Heresies-within his sarcophagus. Due to the unstable nature of the Deep Core region of the Skyriver Galaxy, all hyperspace lanes leading to Prakith collapsed leaving the world in isolation as its theocracy society continued to guard the tomb of their deceased God-King, eagerly awaiting the day of his possible resurrection.
While Darth Andeddu was now one with the Dark Side, his legacy persisted through his teachings...
Fast forward to the aftermath of the New Sith Wars around 1000 BBY, Darth Bane proclaimed himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith with Darth Zannah as his apprentice in accordance with his Rule of Two. Over time, Bane began to seek the secrets of immortality himself. Discovering mention of Darth Andeddu and Prakith from an illegal Sith artifact broker by the name of Argel Tenn, Bane made his perilous journey into the Deep Core. After successfully locating Prakith and landing on the isolated world, Darth Bane fought his way to Darth Andeddu's tomb through numerous Malevolence cultists and successfully recovered the Holocron of Heresies. While he obtained Andeddu's holocron, Bane failed to complete the ritual of Essence Transfer and fell to the blade of Darth Zannah on the desert planet of Ambria in 980 BBY. Posession of the Holocron of Heresies went to the Dark Jedi Set Harth, who was able to master Andeddu's Essence Transfer ability and used to live for centuries afterward.
By 21 BBY, during the second year of the Clone Wars, Darth Andeddu's ancient secrets were still preserved in the Holocron of Heresies, which was now relocated on Korriban, until it and its contents were sought by Count Dooku. Rather than retrieve the holocron himself, Dooku sent two of his Dark Acolytes to Korriban as a test: the Dark Jedi Tol Skorr and Kiffar Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, who was undercover but slowly falling into the Dark Side around this time. Vos managed to win the Holocron of Heresies from Skorr and presented to Count Dooku. Darth Andeddu's holocron later fell into the hands of Sheev Palpatine, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, after Count Dooku's death by Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. Through the boundless knowledge from the Holocron of Heresies, Palpatine was able to successfully master Essence Transfer, which famously utilized in the later stages of the Galactic Civil War to cheat death by transferring his Force Ghost into prepared clones of himself.
After Emperor Palpatine's final death, Darth Andeddu's Holocron of Heresies, his lightsaber, and many of his books and scrolls fell in the posession of the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke of the First Order, a successor state to the Galactic Empire officially founded at the Galactic Civil War's end in 14 ABY. They were among the many treasures collected by Snoke's elite force of Dark Side Adepts, the Knights of Ren, who considered themselves separate from both the Jedi and the Sith.
A remnant of the Old Sith Empire that was able to escape Darth Bane's betrayal on Ruusan 1000 years ago, known as the Sith Eternal Imperium, commemorated Darth Andeddu with the 5th "Andeddu" Legion of the Neo-Sith Troopers and by erecting a statue of him at the Moraband Basilica, a memorial ground of many fallen Sith Lords and war heroes on the former Sith bastion world and Sith Eternal capital Exegol.
