I could use a teleport right now - that looks an amazing place to visit. Bet it would look great doing a timed exposure (real film) of the sun coming up over them. Great shot, you've certainly sold me on the place

Man! You're tellin' me. Next year I'm bringing my SLR and doing just that (early morning when no one else is around, some good low speed film and set up a 45 minute exposure of the sunrise).

I was going to set up some better shots but it was very very busy this year so I had to move along.

But yeah, it's an amazing thing to experience and they've finally put up some catwalks to make moving around them easier for everyone (previously it was pretty rugged so getting good angles was a challenge! Not to mention the additional erosion)

I love Drumheller. I think that's where I'll retire haha, just sit in the old Last Chance Saloon and drink jars of beer

Drumheller Alberta [link]

One of these days I'll go down and take some much better shots.

I usually make an annual trip.

Thanks.

Erosion also resulted in Chinmey Rock, Nebraska, USA:

My apologies for the misspelling. It is, of course, "Chimney Rock."

And yes, it is cool.

oooKey -
where is the water that made those markings ?
was it a lake or an ocean ?

Wind, water, erosion and time. Most of Alberta used to be under an ocean several millennia ago.
